I am a second year MSW student at Springfield College with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Connecticut. I am trained in reproductive, perinatal, and maternal mental health through Postpartum Support International. Alongside my work at The Life Workshop, I am an administrator at The Children’s Law Center where I work with families going through tumultuous custody battles across the state of Connecticut. In my previous internship placement, I worked with elementary aged children in a school setting providing crisis intervention and therapeutic services to a select number of children. This is the beginning of my journey with reproductive and perinatal mental health as most of my experience comes from family services. However, I am highly interested in early intervention processes with those currently pregnant, and going through a wide variety of hardships. I reside in northeastern Connecticut alongside my partner and orange cat, Judy. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, spending time with friends and family, and spoiling my fur baby.
