Hi! My name is Yazmine (pronounced Jasmin), and I am a bilingual clinical intern here at The Life Workshop. I am currently completing the final year of my Master of Social Work degree at the University of Saint Joseph.

I have a background in supporting families from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds as they navigate childhood trauma. My work centers on developmental milestones, behavioral challenges, and social-emotional growth, helping caregivers understand their children’s needs with clarity and confidence. As a Circle of Security Certified provider, I support caregivers in strengthening attachment, understanding their child’s emotional needs, and building secure, connected relationships.

As a mother of two, I understand the emotional complexity of parenting including the joy, the exhaustion, and the deep desire to show up fully for your children. My own experience has given me meaningful insight into the realities of parenting and the emotional demands mothers often carry.

I am passionate about maternal mental health and community care, particularly for mothers navigating identity, culture, and generational patterns. I am committed to supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum transitions, and the ongoing journey of motherhood.

I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and culturally affirming space where mothers can show up authentically, share their experiences, and feel understood, supported, safe, validated, and empowered. I am honored to provide this support in both English and Spanish.
